John & Katrina Barred from a Night Club

John Abraham and Katrina Kaif’s idea to celebrate after a hectic schedule turned out to be a spoiled effort when they were not allowed to enter in to a New York night club. What was more embarrassing was that the bouncers did not pay heed to their celebrity status and stuck to the demand of ID proof.According to a source present at the venue, “A crew member wanted to celebrate his birthday. He invited everybody to a new nightclub in New York. After a hard day’s shoot, the entire gang left for the night club”.

The source further added, “While the crew members went ahed in one car, John, Katrina and Kabir Khan followed in another. When they were stopped at the nightclub, they tried to reason with the bouncers that they were well known and respected people from India. John and Katrina told them that they were film stars from India but the bouncers only stared at them.

The bouncers had no clue what John and Katrina were talking about. The called the crew members, who were inside but they too were of no help”.Katrina and John along with their director Kabir Khan back geared to their hotel where they left their ID proof but by the time they returned to the club, the party was almost over. They covered one hour ride from the night club to the hotel to acquire their IDs proof.

Salman Khan Is Unromantic Says Katrina Kaif

As they get ready for the release of their forthcoming film Yuvraaj, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif gave their first joint interview and answered questions about their love life for the first time.When Katrina was asked whether Salman was a very romantic boyfriend and she promptly replied,

“No. He is not romantic at all. He keeps it all for the screen.”
This will be their first serious romance and Katrina confesses that their ideas of romance are very different from each others’.

“I want to go for holidays, but he says its boring to be alone together. He hates candlelight dinners. He wants his food to be ready on the table when he reaches a restaurant. He likes to be surrounded by people.”
Katrina also spoke about what she likes about Salman, except for the fact that he is a good looking man,

She says, “Earlier I used to think, models were drop dead lookers. But today I cherish a complete personality. But I cannot deny that Salman and I had an instant connection when we met. I thought he was a striking personality.”
Salman was asked who he thinks of as the most beautiful woman in the world and guess what he replied -

“Whoever I have gone out with or I am going out with now, is the one.”

Just 24 years of age and only nine films old, this girl has the professionalism of a seasoned Bollywood actress.. although she needs to work alot more on her acting skills but her sincerity towards her work that completely bowled filmmakers out. What more she pays special attention to her look in each film and tries on something different. You must have heard that she designed her own clothes for her superhit film Namaste London.For Yuvraaj, she is said to have tried on 200 hundered gowns designed by Gauri and Nanika, to finalize on the perfect look she needed for the film.

“Katrina’s look n Yuvvraaj is very classic and very regal with the emphasis on empire line waistlines and Grecian gowns. Before starting the schedule of Yuvvraaj, Katrina tried over 200 different gowns spending the entire day with Delhi based designers Gauri and Nanika,” said a source.
“Each gown gave a different effect. Katrina wanted to then zero in on gowns. That would make a very fairy tale kind of impact on screen,” the source added.

I follow Akshay into projects: Katrina Kaif

British-born Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who has given many hits with Akshay Kumar, says she trusts the star's script sense and often follows him into projects. Katrina's last hit with Akshay was Singh is Kinng.

But, yes, he does have a fantastic knowledge of what works at the box office. That explains our success ratio together," Katrina said.

Interestingly, in Vipul Shah's Namastey London, Katrina had the main role while Akshay played the supporting part. The tables were turned in Singh Is Kinng. But Katrina says she wasn't allowed to complain.

"Every time I'd start complaining about the size of my role, Akshay would order me to go and stand in a corner and repeat Namastey London five times and be quiet. He's right. He needn't have done Namastey London, which was the girl's story," said Katrina who teamed up with Akshay in Welcome as well.

"I didn't think I was ready to do something like this. But then I heard the script and I couldn't resist it. Maybe because Prakashji is such a good narrator, I fell in love with my character," she said. She feels if Rajneeti works, it will bring an interesting turn to her career.

"I'm doing enough hardcore commercial films. At this juncture of my career I can afford to do something that challenges me. As long as the script is entertaining, I'm all for it. "As for my character, she's a light-hearted character to begin with. Later she grows serious and ambitious. If it works, it can do a lot for my career." Katrina has a spate of releases lined up including Hello, Yuvraaj and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

"Is that a bad thing? A lot of my films have run into one another, films that I had committed to way in advance. These are things I can't control. And I really want to do these films. Or I wouldn't be doing them in the first place." However, Katrina won't be taken for granted by people around her. "You've to stand your ground. I can't please everyone all the time. I've realised that."

Malaika's son has huge crush on Katrina Kaif

Guess who is eyeing Salman Khan's girlfriend Katrina Kaif? It's none other than his four year-old nephew Arhaan, son of Malaika Arora and Arbaaz!

"My four-year-old son Arhaan has the most incurable crush on Katrina. Whenever she's around, I become completely unimportant to my son," Malaika told IANS.

"It's a family joke that Arhaan is smitten by Katrina. Every time Katrina and I speak she wants to know where Arhaan is so she could take him out," she said.

After Katrina, Kareena Kapoor too is a favourite with the little boy.

"When Arbaaz and I visited Kareena's location in Hollywood last month, Arhaan became a total lamb. I ceased to exist. Everything was about Kareena only. And I was shocked when my boy, who gives me a hard time feeding him, would ask for everything that Kareena ordered at restaurants and eat quietly without taking his eyes off Kareena," said Malaika, who's known for her dance moves in hit songs like "Chaiyya chaiyya".

Far from sharing cold vibes with Salman's friend Katrina, Malaika actually shares a good rapport with the actress who has written new box office rules by giving six back-to-back hits.

So what are these stories about Malaika's cold war with Katrina?

"There's absolutely nothing to this talk of my cold war with Katrina. I've no space or time for having these kinds of issues with people. I feel life is too precious for these kinds of run-ins.

"It was written that I didn't attend Katrina's birthday. But I was shooting for my reality show ('Zara Nach Ke Dikha') and I couldn't make it. Is that a crime? Are there laws against skipping a family gathering because I was working?

"It was said I didn't go to Katrina's birthday because I couldn't get along with her. Bullshit! And now we're supposed to have shared cold vibes with Katrina at Salman's sister birthday party. Why would I spoil Arpita's party by behaving like such a party-pooper?"

Malaika says she's a total family woman.

"These are very upsetting rumours because it involves the entire family. I'm such a family person. I'd drop anything for family. Katrina isn't someone I hang around with every day or go out with for coffees and lunches. But she's part of our family and I completely respect her presence.

"But, no, she isn't part of my close friends' circle. Both of us come from decent families. My parents would slap me if I misbehaved with anyone, least of all Katrina who is part of our family."

"No one from Arbaaz's side or my own side of the family can accuse me of behaving highhandedly or aloof. I go out of my way for family. My mother would kick my ass if I behaved like a prima donna. Someone is obviously getting a lot of pleasure by spreading these rumours."

Is it someone from the Khan family?

"I wouldn't know. But whoever it is, I hope he or she is having a good time," said Malaika who will be seen in a full-fledged role in forthcoming film "EMI".

Was SRK trying to deport Katrina Kaif?

A new twist has been added to the much hyped Sallu-SRK spat, it seems that the fight took place when SRK pointed a finger towards Katrina Kaif for working illegally in India.

A source close to SRK says, “Shah Rukh Khan was sitting with his close friend Congress MP Rajiv Shukla and discussing Vishal Punjabi’s issue. Shah Rukh had been trying to take the help of all his friends to stop the deportation of Vishal. He was only telling Shukla that there are a lot of people working in the film industry without proper papers and he did not really mean only Katrina. Kamal Khan, a close friend of Salman Khan was sitting with cricketer Azharuddin, who overheard the conversation and probably reported it to Salman Khan.'’
When Salman got to know about this he asked Shukla about the issue, the source adds, “Salman Khan told Shukla Sir aap Jhoot mat bolo, even after Shukla repeatedly told him that Shah Rukh Khan has not said anything about Katrina’s deportation and that he was only discussing Vishal’s case.'’
I am tired of this Sallu-SRK fight, dunno what reason will they come up with the next time!!!
